General: The Fun Ride is a touristic path of 21 km , without rank or time constraints. Aimed at everyday cyclists who want admire the natural beauty of our region. For 2016 , the route includes a tour through the city of Florina and a short ride to nearby villages.
Itinerary: New Park Florina ( start) – Around city of Florina ( Ag . Paraskevi – Ag . Nikolaos- Sakoulevas ) – Skopia – Tropaiouchos – Florina – Florina New Park (finish )
Description: After the start from New Park Area , we head to the small runabout , and continue to Aghia Paraskevi . We ride from the upper side of the military camp , we pass in front of the hospital exit and continue . Before Odos Oneiron cafe, we turn left downhill and immediately right to exit to Ipirou Str.
We continue on the same street until we exit Florina. When we pass the Traffic Education Park will see the church of St. Nicholas . We turn left and find the river Sakouleva, at the back side of the church.
We follow the road and turn left in the Caucasou Str., to approach the river bank. From there, we cycle beside Sakouleva, enter the paved road in front of the cafes and continue on the pavement, which leads us again outside the city .
We ride up the slight uphill, which will bring us next to the church of St. George and continue for Skopia. Another 5km and we meet the village Tropaiouchos . After 1 km at the intersection , we turn left for Perasma village.
Before Perasma and after we arrive on a crossroads , we turn left to Florina without entering the village.
After 5 km, we reach Florina and arrive at the same intersection we met , when we exit the paved road.
We follow the I. Artis Str. , which will bring us to the large runabout, at the city entrance , we turn left and soon after we finish our ride at New Park Area.
